Spain is full of cultural highlights

Barcelona is one of the culinary capitals recognized worldwide.
Catalan cooking has enjoyed great success and is internationally recognized due to names such as Ferràn Adrià, the Roca brothers, Carme Ruscalleda and Sergi Arola. Its main success has been creating a new style of cooking which blends tradition and quality.

Enjoy Barcelona`s Modernist architecture with works of genius Antoni Gaudí and La Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila and Parc Guell, part of the nine buildings declared World Heritage by UNESCO.

Madrid is an influential cultural center and has internationally prestigious museums, most notably the Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza and CaixaForum Madrid all of them are among the most visited museums in the world.

The old town of Seville is the largest in Spain and one of the three largest in Europe. Among its most representative monuments are La Giralda, the Alcazar, the Archivo de Indias and the Torre del Oro, of which the first three have been declared World Heritage by UNESCO jointly in 1987.

San Sebastian is the city with the largest number of Michelin stars per square meter. It is the only city in the world, along with Paris, who owns three restaurants with three Michelin stars. Therefore, eating is one of the main tourist attractions of the city. Juan Mari Arzak, Pedro Subijana and Martin Berasategui, are clearly the ambassadors of the Basque cuisine all holders of three Michelin stars are also popular tapas bars and tapas in the Old Town, little gems of culinary art. San Sebastián will be European Capital of Culture in 2016

Granada is recognized for the monuments and the proximity to Sierra Nevada Ski resort.  Among its historic buildings, a must do is the Alhambra, one of the largest in the country, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984, along with the garden of the Generalife and the Albaicín. The Cathedral is considered the first Renaissance church in Spain.
